This is weird whataboutery even from a right-wing demagogue. IT WAS DISGRACEFUL. He said it because he knew it would hurt. If society aproved of being gay, he would have said something else vile. It wasn't an objective comment on sexuality, it was a mean smear.

How do you know that?
-
Are you trying to suggest that outing _his own ex_ - meaning he knew Sanni's personal situation and the trouble it would mean back home - was done without any malice? With a random person it could be cack-handed. But in this case - you'd have to be seriously credulous
-
No, he was placing their conversations in context. As he has every right to do.
-
Utterly credulous.

Hi Julia, why can't you instead be angry at both things like a normal human being with the ability to think about 2 things at once? Both of these things are horrid. Unless you're excusing one, your tweet is nonsense.
-
I didn’t see anything in Andrew’s tweet to suggest he was angry at both. Please point to where I missed that
-
Someone else did it first, so you do it too? It's whataboutery. He was tweeting specifically about one thing, you piped up to say 'what about this other thing that you don't acknowledge and therefore invalidates what you have said.' It's the death of discourse.
-
And it's very cheap.
-
I am angry at homophobia. I am not angry at gay people who are open about their relationships. Does that clear it up for you?
-
Coming out is a personal choice. Surely you understand the implications of that? You are quite right to be angry at homophobia - you do not need a tweet from Andrew Adonis to act as a springboard to display that anger, unless you are trying to display your moral superiority.

More importantly, you got that washing machine on yet Julia?

Two loads washed, and hung out in the sun here!

Maybe he's angry at both... Just a thought... Just like any rational human being.

In fact I thought Mr Adonis should be non stop discussing the rapes in Telford....
-
Adonis is a prat and gives not a hint of pity for our girls.
