I've been binned from 2 gigs in the past year, Norwich and Lewes.

I said despite voting remain I’d vote leave if there was a 2nd referendum as I think the 1st one should be binding.
#FBPE got abusive and told me I was lying. One then accused me of being racist for criticising the EU as an organisation. These people are no different to Momentum -
Welcome to the world of being shouted at.

Most City ppl I know are aware that Passporting is a total charade. Minimal jobs are moving to EU. Far worse for U.K. is the
#MIFID & the lamentable FCA. City activity is mostly wholesale. No#Brexit impact whatsoever.@semperfidem2004 -
Pretty much spot on.

There's a reason why there are very few Brexit-supporting academics. It's because Brexit is stupid and academics are not.

It's truly sad that those who support
#brexit dare not say they support the people's democratic decision for fear of losing their jobs. Is this a democracy or not? -
No one is going to lose their job for voting Leave. Get a grip everyone. Thought you all wanted to take back control. Not much point if you're going to tip toe around frightened of your own shadows.
-
They’re shitting themselves apparently. I never realised we had so much power and influence!

Speaking to a UKIP member yesterday who would lose his job if the company knew his affiliation. Also one who was sacked for standing for UKIP for Metro Mayor.... Companies are sacking people for their political views.

It's in all walks of life. I post amongst my circle of FB friends, I'm Thatcherite, a Leaver, and I've been called fascist, racist, thick... But people approach me to offer support, but admit they are afraid to even hit the like button. Opinions are being surpessed by bullies.

I never hide the fact that I voted Leave, & it's so sad that ppl feel too bullied to be able to voice their real opinions. Also, I don't verbally abuse ppl when I find out they voted remain. High time all this nonsense stopped & we can all move forward together.

Yes, I think that's the best way. I've seen such poison & it's not necessary. Some family members voted Remain & they take the piss out of me & I do the same to them but ultimately we respect each others different view.
