Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - at Westminster and in the media knew Brendan Cox was a sex pest but they happily allowed him to play the saint anyway. Brendan Cox admits he was a sex pest and resigns from two charitieshttp://dailym.ai/2ogYjAe

With respect that's a ridiculous statement. The fact that he might be politically on the left and a remainer would make him even more of a target
-
You don’t understand how the media works
-
As far as I can tell, it doesn't.
-
Lol well said!
-
I'm probably hopelessly naive but it just seems that way to me. I always felt the media's job should be to inform and educate and not to manipulate and deceive.
-
Oh dear, welcome to the real world. MSM has agenda, always did always will. One of the reasons EU, Soros etc etc is trying to curb social media, to hide the truth.
-
Yeah. I know. I was using more than a soupcon or irony but to my annoyance there is still no font to represent this.
-
Lol Use this

Grieving widower + left wing + Remainer = untouchable. Yes, at least two of those are guaranteed to mean the media leave you alone.
-
To UKIP folk and general alt-right loons liking my latest post - you don't really understand irony, do you?
-
Has it occurred to you that some people think that your tweet is rooted in truth? I think the left generally get a free pass
-
I get that some people think my tweet was a truthful observation. It was entirely designed for people who think the Left get a free pass. 'Conspiracy theorists" is I think how you are generally described.

Absolutely correct - a manipulating monster being protected by the left.
-
No change there. Everyone loves to vilify the right. The left however are automatically assumed to be ‘good’ people unless someone with enough b***s to take them on proves categorically otherwise. The@left in this country seems to have a Teflon coating

We have a Tory government and Brexit is happening. Why is his being leftwing and a Remainer relevant to his being 'untouchable'. Or are you just trying to taint those opinions by association. Surely not?
-
Don't bet your shirt on Brexit. The EU proposals are awful. Let's park that. I DO think that left wing makes a difference. Look at Oxfam and Compare/Contrast with Presidents club. No 10,
@YvetteCooperMP@jessphillips have not condemned Oxfam yet. Very curious double standards -
I'm sorry but how does that reinforce the idea that being leftwing or a Remainer makes you untouchable? The most rabid parts of the media are rightwing and pro-Brexit. Talking about something else doesn't prove that point. Sorry
-
Personally (and you disagree) I do think that those on the left politically get treated more sympathetically than those on the right. Presidents club was businessmen (right wing?) - bad. Oxfam a left wing charity - silence. Does not seem consistent in my view
-
There's been silence over Oxfam? Seriously - that's your argument? How are we talking about it then?
-
When did the Charity Commission go on TV (as they did with Presidents) & condemn it? Never. When did No 10 condemn it? Never. When did
@YvetteCooperMP or@jessphillips whip themselves into a frenzy in the HofC over it? Not yet. The left establishment are stubbornly silent - 1 more reply
