Where was your voice Julia.

He isn’t my responsibility. I didn’t join in the sainting of him. That was my choice.
-
If you know something bad about someone it's your responsibility to raise the issue. You are a journalist after all.
-
No it isn’t. It’s everyone’s responsibility. All anyone had to do was google his name.
-
Unless you had any idea why would anyone Google him. It was only recently in the public domain. You guys have known for ever. Shame on everyone who knew and said nothing. Everyone.

Can I please ask you genuine questions? If everyone knew that Cox was a sex pest, why didn't anyone say anything? After Savile (when people KNEW what he was like and said nothing) have the SW1A elite and the media not learned the risks of silence? They knew and did nothing.
-
He was a grieving widower with kids. And he was left wing and a Remain campaigner. That combination made him untouchable and he knew it.
-
With respect that's a ridiculous statement. The fact that he might be politically on the left and a remainer would make him even more of a target
-
You don’t understand how the media works
-
As far as I can tell, it doesn't.
-
Lol well said!
-
I'm probably hopelessly naive but it just seems that way to me. I always felt the media's job should be to inform and educate and not to manipulate and deceive.

So if you knew why didn't you say anything? You told on the MP knee touching. I really don't get it.
-
The allegations re Save the Children were in the papers before his wife died. Not my story to tell when I have no evidence.
-
Journalists dig deep. No shovel Julia?
-
His past as a sex pest was already exposed in the newspaper. Do try reading sometime.
-
Dont try and make this about Julia. The truth is out there about Brandon Cox, the sexual predator who hid behind his charity work and played the saint. A vile man. I never liked him, he couldn't wait to get his face in front of the cameras and get all preachy!
-
I don't want to make this about anyone but Cox. But when a journalist says, "Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - at Westminster and in the media knew Brendan Cox was a sex pest....." then it it has to be pointed out. We rely on journalists to inform.
-
We do John but it wasn't a secret. This man's actions were reported but until now, everyone chose to ignore it. Why, I do not know. I was disgusted to read he had behaved inappropriately towards women colleagues yet still he was treated like a saint! Why?
-
It also makes me wonder why Obama got so involved with Jo Cox death. Holding hands in America and releasing doves etc., Wasn't there some scandal hushed up about the Clintons and Haiti? Is this world being run by paedophiles and sexual predators? All protecting one another.
