Guardianista @afuahirsch reckons I’m a “grandee of female privilege” who “rejects feminism” & is holding other women back. No, love, the only privilege I’ve had is to work bloody hard. You don’t have to play the victim to be a proud feminist like me. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/feb/07/feminists-advance-prominent-women-metoo …pic.twitter.com/WFQowFPdbr

Everyone who disagrees with the left seems to have some sort of privilege. Strange that 🤔

@afuahirsch is without doubt one of the most irritating people in the UK today. Reach for the mute button every time she appears on my telly box.

Funnily enough there was a "check your privilege" test on line. I scored a limp 34%. Plus points for being white, but being an 11+ failure, comprehensive educated and working class, no discernable advantages. Perhaps Afua should check hers.

Part of feminism is succeeding in a role, to show girls that it can be done. Not bleating on that ‘It’s unfair - I don’t like it’ interminably. Go out ...and do.

The problem is that for too long we have politely and patiently listened to these kind of rantings with nothing more than a puzzled look on our faces. The time has now come to say enough is enough ignore them and return to some kind of rationality.

Ask every successful woman how they did well for themselves in life and they'll tell you that they studied and/or worked bloody hard i.e they pulled their finger out and just got on with it. If one has talent and the correct work ethic, then one can achieve anything.

I notice she also called for Nelson's Column to be destroyed.

Interesting given that in Nelson’s navy, there were plenty of black sailors. The Royal Navy didn’t care what colour skin you had as long as you could haul on a line and kill Frenchies. It was an equal opportunities employer; everyone was treated badly by modern standards!
