Yes this should work, the one with the bigger population wins! What's that you say Germany? You just imported another million plus voters? Well that's worked out well for you, what a stroke of luck!

All this as been a german thing from the start. I can remember listening to a radio program when I was driving back from Leicester must be about 35yrs ago 3 out of four german business men saying it was germanys destiny to rule Europe they are the largest and biggest exporter.

If you're unsure of how democracy works, here, or in the EU, this might help you a little.. Fewer words, more pictures... The "un-elected bureaucrats" are the same as our "Civil Service" & the commissioners are elected by elected MEPs.. just like our PM...pic.twitter.com/43RQGFP69I

surely the problem is that the whole commission is democratically unelected and unaccountable - an elected figurehead is just sheer tokenism! Ridiculous idea that changes nothing...

Don't you just love the anti EU comments, nothing of merit. I guess we'll all find out once we vote on the final deal. Oh wait a minute, we don't do democracy anymore, it's been cancelled. Silly me.

So vote for someone to have a pension of probably €300,000 for life paid for by taxpayers who have no idea what they actually do or achieve. Everyone's equal just some are more equal than others.

Surely one of the main objections to the EU in the referendum campaign was that the leaders are not elected by the citizens ?
