No, because they CHOOSE to work part time. Poll after poll shows mothers of younger children prefer to work part time. The family takes a financial hit to make that choice. But you know better, of course.

Like the ladies who work at my friend’s children’s nursery who can’t afford to send their own children there. They are not choosing to work part-time. They cannot afford to work full-time.
