Rubbish. Exports to EU are 43% of UK exports and exports to single market are 48%. What you're doing - whilst displaying a wilful ignorance of statistics - is confusing UK exports to EU as a % (12% btw) of UK GDP with export trade which isn't the same thing at all. ▶️

I agree, lots of people voted to remain due to the horrendous lies told by the remain side.

I dare say some regret voting remain but I have yet to hear of any. Can you tell me what those lies were? I know many from the leave side but not the remain.

        1) There will be an immediate recession if we vote leave; 2) There will be an emergency budget if we vote leave; 3) There will be an immediate loss of 500k jobs if we vote leave. There's 3 for a starter

I don't remember those being as extreme as immediate. We are paying more for things and wages have stagnated. There are jobs being lost due to businesses going abroad, and I've recently learned about the possible loss of 70,000 truckers jobs when we do go. These are happening now

Check out what George Osborne said about those things, immediate was very much his view. Wages started stagnating long before the Brexit vote, and we are at an all time high for employment. I take “possible” effects of Brexit with a pinch of salt these days.

Barnier says there will be ‘unavoidable barriers to trade’. That’s a shame, we’d like to go on buying Mercs, BMWs, Peugeots, Citroens and the rest from them. Still, if that’s what he wants...

He's spouting this stuff on the instigation of his Continuity Remain friends in UK (you know who these scum are) who have told him us UK proles are both stupid and easily scared by all this "cliff edge" bollox. Well it's time to teach him adult diplomacy.

While I agree with you, I never think of Remainers as scum. They’re perfectly entitled to their views. It’s a great shame that social media have enabled this kind of divide and hatred.

No we didn't. Leaving the CU was not on the ballot. Neither was putting a border up in Ireland or leaving the Single Market.

We voted OUT of the Single Market AND Customs Union in 2016! That's what the referendum was about. If the EU want to charge us tariffs, Britain MUST reciprocate. It's about time we stood up to these bullies! 😡
