Julia, be very careful that after Brexit, you're not going to be one of the people that look mighty silly. You know when we are all trying to pick up the pieces

Julia just doesn’t get you can be neutral and have integrity and also compile a report that concludes Brexit will leave all of us (including her, her family and her children) poorer.
-
But it won’t!! How many predictions has the Bank of England or the Treassury got right in the last 3 years??
-
There was a significant and lasting effect on our economy on day one.

Except that I see, contrary to what you printed in your rag, that the worst case Treasury Forecast was based on the following 1) David Cameron doing what he said. Triggering article 50 notice the next day. 2) No BofE intervention.
-
2/ As it was A) Cameron didn’t trigger A50 the next day B) BofE was able to pump £435 billion into the economy to offset the worst effects. C) The Eurozone has thrived. Not us.pic.twitter.com/kJAhrLv6qQ

And that wage stagnation set to extend into 2023 courtesy of Brexit. Then there is inflation. 3.1% CPI. 4.1% RPI. In fact wages are getting less in real terms. & many people are feeling it. Might be why your paper is losing money. Only 10% regard your paper as +ve (YouGov)pic.twitter.com/o3nR7Fe4kD

FINALLY there is a whole database of Impact Assessments carried out by a number of independent institutions that ALL SAY THE SAME AS THE KEAKED REPORTS. ALL models of Brexit will make us poorer, much poorer. So save your ire for those who sold that big fat lie.pic.twitter.com/nXtho6Ql15

I know. But someone who reads it might. And JHB should be looking to her future, as it isn’t long now until the Brexit old boilers come home trying to roost. It has all gone on too long and been too high profile for it to be forgotten or written off.

Oh do grow up- for a so called intelligent being this is pathetic - indeed playground banter. Truth is you have no answers to the fact this is simply a recipe for disaster as sensible people have known all through the last 20 months.

https://twitter.com/garvanwalshe/status/959131168863027200 … Hardly a Remainer...but worth a read before you slag off the Civil servants & try to find other scapegoats to screen the fact that
#Brexit can't be made to work..certainly not this debacle.. We will be Poorer, Weaker, have less Control & be losing Rights. - 1 more reply

Blaming Civil Servants for the pointing out the potential damage of Brexit is like blaming the laws of gravity for a plane crash.
-
Do you mean, if there was no gravity, the plane would come down anyway?

-
Perhaps the positive thoughts of the Leavers would keep it in the air

-
I suppose the lies of the Remoaners are enough to bring anything down!
