How is applying for a grant fiddling the system,paying for a child's accomm,food, bills & living expenses was expensive then relatively& if you had two kids at uni it was v.expensive then.u may live in a decent house,doesn't mean u have loads of disposable income per month.

My parents both earned an OK, salary, my dad had a reasonable good job, my mum a secretary,we weren't entitled to a grant & it was tight every month for them to pay for me to http://go.im sure JHB paid there taxes to be entitled to a grant,it was unusual not to get one
