What do you mean “many people didn’t vote”? It was the highest over turnout in decades!

That 'can't vote number' included children & babies.12m couldn't be bothered but the majority voted LEAVE thank god. Remainiacs resort to spurious arguments.Would they have accepted 52% of the vote.I think so.!

There's so many angles to come from though. Brexiters have one - a 1950's pipe dream of an England long departed. Where Fox hunting was common place and we had 'girl's jobs' and 'boy's jobs'. The world has moved on.

Why is it a pipe dream to govern your own country without interference by 27 states just for tariff free trade ? Seems weird that you can be so patronising to 17.4m http://Britons.You  do know what patronising is,don't you ?

And almost as many voted not to leave as voted leave. But now most want to remain ... https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/jan/26/britons-favour-second-referendum-brexit-icm-poll?CMP=share_btn_tw …

How many UK citizens living abroad for 15 years or more were allowed to vote even though they stand to loose the most? Where has their democratic rights gone? Selfish quitters. #stopbrexit #a50challenge #FBPE #ABTV #WATON

That's so misleading. Its titled "How the British Voted in the Referendum" However it includes those that didn't vote. Pure and utter rubbish.

It's not misleading at all. It shows every facet of data clearly. If you have a problem with the title (it says The UK so takes all into consideration), feel secure in the knowledge that any insecurity is immediately overshadowed by the data below.

No it wasn't. Every general election prior to 1992 bar 1 had a bigger % turnout. So on a binary referendum it wasn't that great.

The Electoral Commission reports that the overall turnout was 72.21 percent. 27.79% didn't vote. That is 'many' by any definition.
