Life is too short to keep having this same argument again and again

On the contrary my belief is Julia knows rather more than she concedes (she's not ignorant..in same way for example Dorries is). It suits her to take position she does for her own career/following. She's a relatively smart cookie playing games (allegedly) that will not affect her

If stupidity is just an act then the lady is a master of disguise.
-
Of course I might be entirely wrong....I do not follow her avidly, but she smacks more of arrogant deceit than of being Dorries dumb

That sums up the whole brexit farce really doesn't it? Strong opinionated prominent people 'thinking they're doing okay' driving others to follow, without stopping to think maybe they should humbly learn a little more first from others who DO know more.. Otherwise it IS a game
-
Well put. And the result of gobby people who should know better doing this is that people who really don't know better believe that the impossible is achievable and get frustrated when the knowledgeable point out how and why it isn't. Only to be labelled 'traitors'.
-
As I say I strongly believe it is simply a game for those that won't be adversely impacted..the details and unfolding ramifications predicted by experts in trade & law who knew them long before they become "news" were always there to be sought & listened to. I sought & listened.

You may be interviewing the 'Experts' who know sweet nothing about the EU. Have you asked
@RichardAENorth on your show? or anyone like Christopher Booker who has spent half a lifetime explaining what a horrendous thing the EU is? Thought not - 1 more reply

I think it has become a game, for the written media, there as so many words being churned out every day it's become a who is cleverest fest.

You are ONLY a journalist, w no knowledge about trade, so shouldn’t you just keep quiet - I’m an economist and will happily talk about international trade and
#Brexit lies, but I will leave the electrics in my house to a qualified electrician

No, you’re not managing just fine. You may interview experts and you may hear what they say, but that does not mean that you are learning from them. You can lead a horse to water ...

Weird then, given that privileged position, that you chose to take a view completely opposite to the experts. You are either wilfully ignorant or you can’t grasp basic facts.

Are these the same experts that are still pushing for a hard Brexit despite being privy to their own Impact assessment that says hard Brexit will damage growth by 8%? Some experts huh?
