So we'll be full members of the EU with all the costs and obligations for 3 years but without any say in anything. By then we'll have a general election, a new government who will likely take us back in weaker. Brilliant.

I think they're suggesting it'd be better to keep control than to cede control. "Give up control" wasn't one of the Leave slogans was it? Yet that's what brexit's meaning.
