You a supposed intelligent woman, can't distinguish the difference in those 2 scenarios? Really!! Just stop digging

-
-
-
I can distinguish between the two: in one they are being PAID to wear the skimpy dresses, in the other they are not
-
Now you’ve completely lost me? Although to be honest I am more focused now on Arsenal getting to a cup final!!!!

It’s tricky and seems like double standard. Zero issues with men dressed in nothing but aprons getting paid to groped by drunken women. Why are men seen as full agent in their choices but not women?pic.twitter.com/2kvtbaWVl8
-
I would have thought the job description for “Butler in the buff working at private Hen parties” was slightly more transparent than “Hostess working at all men, corporate charity event”...
-
What about all the other things told to the woman in advance? I am not condoning sexual harrassment all all but we can trust men’s judgement / knowledge on situations like this but not women? That’s my point. Where were the complaints to agency / police?
-
Five page document of secrecy.
-
Yes, and that is would be another alarm bell for me if I was in that situation. A non-disclosure does not prohibit reporting criminal behaviour
-
Quite right. I’m not sure what this argument is trying to achieve. Are you suggesting nothing can have gone on, because nothing has been reported to the police? And presumably everyone is lying to the media for attention?
-
Who is everyone? And why is a mens only even news worthy stuff? Were the woman drugged? Coerced? Forced? It’s all a story of a journalist focusing on misogyny and the power men seem to have in society
-
You’re far too sensible for Twitter, Graham!

Oh that's alright then Julia.... so men have the green light to molest women, according to your warped logic
-
When did I say that?

maybe there’s a difference between choosing to wear something and your financial security depending on it. Just a thought
-
Why do you think their financial security was depending on it? You have no evidence for that.
-
correct I’m making an assumption about these women but that doesn’t mean it’s not reasonable. There may be exceptions.
-
I doubt that young women will choose to work insecure, low paid jobs at unsociable hours with low chance of career advancement

Yeah but your friday night girls aren't being forced to wear basically a UNIFORM that sexualizes them for the delectation of a room of pervy richboys... So there's that
-
But isn’t it interesting how many women CHOOSE to wear such outfits of their own free will?
-
you highlighted the crucial word there. Choose. These girls had no choice. Also, it would not be tolerated if the 1/2
-
Sorry Andrew but you are being very naive!
-
Explain..
-
If you go to such an event you will get the hang of it fairly quickly! The girls are not victims Andrew! They’re grown up experienced people who choose to do what they do and are usually very good at it.
-
I've been to plenty of very high profile events where plenty of money has been raised for charity and guess what? Nobody got groped. Because the men were also grown up. Stop enabling this behaviour and get with the times
-
I have been civil to you Andrew and I don’t expect you to start trying to lecture or patronise me!
