But what if people need the money?

It's still their choice. In the first group of words anyone is taught is YES & NO. Then as we get older, we're taught self respect! I'd rather clean toilets than let some egotistical rich man grope me! These girls were warned. They could have said no, IF they wanted to.
-
The job description clearly didn't say that they were going to be groped. Consent is needed. As for self respect, the line is completely different for everyone and we shouldn't judge each other. xoxo

Twitter allows all to voice opinions. Mine is, if I went for a temp job & was told what knickers to wear, my self respect would've made me turn it down. If I'd been there, I'd have poured hot gravy over anyone who tried to grope me. BUT I agree these men behaved like animals

I was once told what underwear to wear for a job. Mind you, that was to protect against IED blasts.

Exactly! Why do you take the damned job! And given the outcry over sexual assault/abuse I am surprised at these women who claim to be shocked that in this day and age this is still happening! What universe are they living in for gods sake.

I am shocked - SHOCKED - that professional rentagob JHB has found a contrary position to take on this story. She can sniff out the wrong hill to die on from a mile out. Relentless
-
I agree. I stopped following her. Quite disgusted by what she is tweeting.

Many would be shocked at what goes on at women’s only hen nights. Men don’t have a monopoly on bad behaviour.
-
Well said but the feminists have taken the high ground on this and are driving the agenda.

Why did Miss Marriage not report these attacks on women to the police after witnessing the first sexual assault , she said she was also groped on 3 occasions so why did she not contact as i said the police straight away.
-
I think you need to read the article again. The journalist did not say she witnessed any assaults. She said hostesses told her that they had been assaulted. I can't see in the article where she says she was groped. Where did you read that?
-
I did not read her statement but watched her interviews on the BBC and Sky News channels Check out their websites

Watching the hysteria about this on
@BBCNews tonight I couldn't be sure whether it was the groping or the fact that the dinner was men only. If they're offended by the groping then the individuals involved should be dealt with instead of punishing the many for the sins of the fewThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. Absolutely/ what next women are banned from taking jobs like lap dancing, strippers etc - everyone is free to choose what they do - the morality police should think again
