I’m a temp worker & my agency asks me to dress sexily (inc what knickers to wear) for a job as a “hostess” at a boozy all male dinner where, the agency tells me, I may be groped. I agree to do the job. A woman’s prerogative, surely? #PresidentsClub

I have to say on this occasion, I disagree. Being a hostess and being asked to dress nice for position is not an invitation.

What do you think they thought the job of “hostess” meant?

To me it means be welcoming, friendly and perhaps serve drinks or canapes from a tray. Being groped wouldn't cross my mind

They weren’t working in the catering industry. They were employed as hostesses. They knew the deal

Read the article. The women were told in advance what the job involved. Anyone ever told you what knickers to wear to work?

I worked in catering for YEARS. There are hostesses who greet customers and seat them at their tables. And there are the other kind of hostesses. I think we all know the difference.

I’m going with hosting. When they asked James Corden to host the last awards ceremony he did, do you think he expected to have to give hand jobs to the winners?

To be fair, whenever I see a hostess I grab her arse and ask her if she wants to go upstairs for £300 so I can wheeze on top of her whilst blanking out the memory of my wife and kids. Sounds sick but when you realise it’s all for charity it makes you feel better.

Find me one real example from the millions of hostess jobs available anywhere in the UK where 'being groped' is specifically mentioned as being a part of the job description.

What in the job title 'hostess' suggests groping, even dancers in strip clubs expect to not be molested. 'Hostess' is employed to welcome and entertain, ensuring good time, it's not a prpstitute.
