    Laughable response from @British_Airways to my request for compensation for a flight delayed 5hrs. They’ll pay but insist my daughter gives written permission for me to act on her behalf. She’s 11 so I’d have to give written permission on her behalf to myself. Absurd.

        Hi Julia, we must be related! BA has just asked me ‘for data protection reasons’ to get my partner’s authorisation to progress a claim for MY bag that they lost at NY, entirely because the BA gd staff wrongly put her label on my bag! Still .. been only 4 wks to get to this point!

        Luxury! Quick tip: never get your energy from Scottish Power. They make BA seem like consummate professionals in all departments. 10 months after leaving them as suppliers we are STILL in dispute with them, with ombudsman now involved. Nightmare.
