By lawyers with lots of money you mean? Let them. The EEA treaty is perfectly plain. Article 112 can be invoked unilaterally so why not do it and see who comes up with the money to challenge it? Only the lawyers will get rich out of that.
-
There is no basis on which to challenge invocation of safeguard measures. They are a legal instrument. They are there to be used. The measures then proposed can be disputed which then begins a political process to determine appropriate countermeasures.

Julia, Pete North is probably the best commentator on brexit in the UK, read his blogs & articles, as much as we wish to implement the referendum it's going to be a problematic journey, his suggested solutions would resolve most of the problems

Leaving the Single Market and Customs Union would mean having different trade rules and different freedom of movement laws. This would end the good Friday agreement and would require a hard border. Is that what you voted for?

Could you please cite the most relevant part of the GFA that supports your statement.
-
That doesn't answer my straightforward question, does it? Your best evidence uses the word "could undermine". You have stated "would end". So back to my question? Could you please go direct to the GFA and cite most relevant part that supports your statement.
-
My answer couldn’t have been more straightforward! Seeing as you were not happy with that, here are more facts for you. Is there anything you have seen which suggest there will be no issues? Especially when you see phase 1 of our talks, Soft Brexit or Remain seems inevitable!!pic.twitter.com/VEspnBtRzd

You haven't cited any part of the GFA which dictates leaving the SM and CU would end the GFA. And EU and Ireland deemed "sufficient progress" made in phase 1. If that's your best, I'm more than happy to leave it there and let others judge whether you've answered the question..
-
Phase one Agreement stipulated regulatory alignment between North and South. Check it.
-
It doesn't. The joint report is predicated on: "United Kingdom also recalls its commitment to preserving the integrity of its internal market and Northern Ireland's place within it, as the United Kingdom leaves the European Union's Internal Market and Customs Union."
