I'll hazard a guess that more journalists have been punished for sexual misdemeanours than black cab drivers???

-
Journalists aren’t in a position of trust taking lone women home late at night, are they?
-
Do you honestly think he’ll get his licence back ? Of course he won’t so what’s the point of your original tweet, are you trying to stir it again

-
It’s a hypothetical question. Of course he wouldn’t. Same difference if he gave them a lift as a family friend, no?
-
Same goes for any rapist that’s up for parole, wether their previous job was a Taxi driver or a journalist. No one can be sure they won’t reoffend so what’s the solution ?
-
They can’t. Exactly.

As you well know he will never be considered for a taxi license again. However with one Uber London rape every 11days his CV would get him a job there. As a very poor antagonistic journalist you could take a lesson from
@KTHopkins She is soooo much better at her job than you are -
Then go and bother her, not me. Why do you think this is about cab drivers? No one thinks Worboys represents you.
-
Taxi drivers hate Warboys with a passion. We provided the evidence that the police missed to get him locked up and would happily throw away the key. But media coverage of this story is disproportionate considering vile criminals are released early everyday
-
No one is tarring you or any other cabbie with the same brush. It’s the fact that he was (allegedly) so prolific not that he was a cabbie that makes this a story
-
So why the original tweet about putting your daughter in a cab with him? Never going to happen is it? if Harold Shipman had been released from prison, would you have asked if people were comfortable letting him take their daughters BP? Or would that just be a stupid analogy?

What has that got to do with anything? It was a hypothetical question about his future safety, not his future job.

Why is everyone hellbent I’m giving the impression that the safest transport option in London is now risky. The anonymous 48 Uber drivers accused of sexual assault last year doesn’t even get mentioned. Well done for confusing the public, and potentially compromising their safety
-
Literally NO ONE was saying that.

Likewise daughter's being put in an Uber car Obviously Worboys to be their new poster boy. @EdwardW54427645

1 a week in London Uber NOW but we're going to keep on about a bloke convicted 10 years ago.
-
I can't understand why MP's and Governments are so keen to defend Uber a Company who have no regard for rules and laws (unless money is involved) Time for Cabbies to close London and the Airports. Press might start telling the truth at last.

It is absolutely wrong to release him but you shouldn’t give impression he’d get his cab licence back. At least I hope he wouldn’t...

Uber have the Exact same licensing procedure by the exact same licensing authority
-
Get your facts right before you spout such rubbish
-
My facts are absolutely right. Do you understand the difference between facts and propaganda?
-
The Leytonstone slasher worked for Uber. Fact. How did he pass a proper crb check with all his convictions? TFL admit that some uber drivers need their crb checks updated urgently but are still letting them work?? I think you know more about propaganda than me????
-
Slasher didn't have any convictions. That's why he passed a DBS. TfL required some drivers to resubmit their DBS. Those who haven't resubmitted shouldn't be working.
-
The slasher was medicated on Rispersdone for the treatment of Dissociative Identity Disorder. If he was dependent because of schizophrenia (as reported) it would’ve been extremely unwise of
@TfLTPH to grant a PHD licence. - 2 more replies
