Julia, I’m really happy to spend some time with you to explain how our parliamentary system works. It’s kept us safe for hundreds of years and it’s important - really important - law is upheld. Agitating and stirring hatred will end in disaster for us all.

Aw thanks, Liz but I reckon my degree and my two decades as a political journalist might be enough for me to know how it all works. Sweet offer, though.
-
Shame, that they don’t seem to have done the job!
-
That tweet almost worked.
-
If that didn’t, maybe this might? https://youtu.be/YrwlzoI4bM0 Pure misguided poison!

First time I've seen Gina Miller,on BBC QT a very impressive woman, whose arguments seemed perfectly reasonable with respect to the unexamined aspects exposed by Brexit. It would be undemocratic to silence her
-
Who was trying to silence her?
-
You, by suggesting her motives were anti democratic
-
Julia wasn't (or isn't) trying to silence Gina Miller, merely pointing out the latter's hypocrisy and contradictory logic.
-
Possibly two different things, but what contradictory logic do you refer to?
-
The case she took to court to secure sovereignty for parliament, and her now dismissal of same parliament in favour of the decision being passed to the people. I think the term is 'having your cake and eating it'.
-
She secured the sovereignty of parliament in perpetuity, and, as it should be representative of the citizens collective will, should that change the parliament will be obliged to change with it.Isnt that democratic?
-
I'm not making an argument about democracy. Simply suggesting that Gina Miller's position is either illogical or it has changed. The credibility problem for her is that, although undoubtedly intelligent, she's not good as masking her real intentions; to engineer a remain vote.

@thatginamiller made sure that the brexit process was for Parliament to decide. We live in a Parliamentary democracy. What's wrong with that? She's a hero -
And now MPs have voted for it to proceed, she wants to go back to the people! She changes her mind whenever she doesn’t get the result she wants!
-
as
@DavidDavisMP said " If a democracy cannot change its mind, it ceases to be a democracy” -
How many times do you think we should change our mind?
-
As often as we want to... That's democracy...

-
So shall we say 5 times then?Or until we remain that’s the way the eu likes it I reckon
-
It's every time the majority changes their mind...
-
So there’s no end then
