It’s quite obvious that Widdecombe was referring to Megan’s background as the child of divorce, and a divorcee herself. Why would her being mixed race make her “troubled”, FFS?

Just weird. Why would her "background" not mean being an actress, being divorced, not getting on with her family, even (if you were after a bad thing to object to) her country of birth? Why assume race had anything to do with it at all, unless & until she mentioned race herself?
-
Exactly. The actress thing alone would be a big neon warning sign to me!
-
Copy that. She seems “accomplished” in front of the cameras, but to me it looks as if she is acting out her latest part. I hope I’m wrong.....but Harry has started spouting rubbish, and I suspect it’s her standard ‘sleb posturing that he’s taken on.

Says more about him TBF. The post-Diana Royal Family could be heading for the buffers. Again...

Question, if Anne Widdicombe, was not referring to race, what was she referring to? Oh I know what comes next when someone asks you a question Julia, you say, do your own research, Duh. What would turn up, apart from what has already been written? - What Anne said, defies logic..
-
Why do you think she was talking about Meghan’s race when she didn’t say or imply anything about her race? Maybe it’s just you who is obsessed with her skin colour over and above anything else. What does that make you?
-
What do you think she was talking about? - I don't know why she made such an irreverent remark, - perhaps you should do some research on this, since it is you who are saying race is not the issue here. -
-
A divorced lefty American actress is what I assumed she meant. I could be wrong.
-
As Ann is a religious conservative she would definitely consider the fact she is divorced and a lefty potentially troubling.

the twitter-mob are incredibly sad. when I see Megan, I never ever notice the tone of her skin colour. now the snowflakes force me to notice it.
