If you think Toby Young is unfit to be on the university regulator board because he tweeted about women’s tits but you voted for Jeremy Corbyn to be PM after he took cash from Russia & Iran, and supported Hamas & the IRA, then you’re an idiot.

-
And who paid him the £20,000 you blinkered drone! For once just loik beyond the spin of your supreme leader....
-
Iranian State TV.
-
This is ridiculous, ... LBC's Nick Ferrari worked on PressTV and no-one cares. Corbyn spoke on there and the world's going to end... Get a grip.
-
Who said the World is going to end? And last time I checked Nick Ferrari wasn't proclaiming he was a PM in waiting
-
Absolutely!!!!
-
What our friend also seems to be unaware of is that Nick resigned from his post in 09 over concerns of PressTV's involvement in critic & protest silencing following elections. Jezza was on the payroll from 09-12. Seems he isn't as principled as he would like us to believe.

People who don't stream torture induced confessions to provide false sentences over the threat of an execution? As happened to cause Iran's Press TV to be banned in the UK prior to Corbyn's appearance.

That's saying the UK was complicit in torture, hardly a secret either, we've always been open to letting allies have their way with terrorists. The difference was this was a false confession by someone threatened with execution for giving facts on Iran's repression.

He'd probably argue it was after the watershed, to be fair.pic.twitter.com/EsNCktZIrC

In all seriousness though, international complicity tends to be reliant on at least some evidence or suspicion, Iran's press TV broadcasts regular propaganda to promote antisemitism, homophobia and religious division. There's a massive difference in agenda.

@juliaHB1 The UK rountinely supports harsh, brutal regimes and carries out aggression in pursuit of its strategic foreign policy goals. Will you be boycotting the British Media in its totality, or just the BBC? -

Not relevant. Julia uses the usual suspects; Iran, Russia, Hamas, to paint a nonsensical picture of Corbyn. Has Julia ever asked what it is that makes Hamas rockets worse than say, US/UK 'shock & awe'? 'Their' bombs & violence = bad. 'Ours' (on a vastly bigger scale) = fine?

Indeed. Consider this: JC wasn’t in the IRA, didn’t supply arms, didn’t aid them operationally, didn’t train them & condemned their tactics (bombing). May does all of those things for Saudi in Yemen. ZERO questions put to her by *any* journalist. Julia, can you explain this?
-
2nd point: there’s a difference between having sympathy and/supporting a group’s *political aims* and supporting their *tactics*. So if JC supported IRA resistance to historic British oppression, that’s defensible. He didn’t support the bombing though. Key distinction.

Spot on. But the tories do t lke facts getting n thecway of a story. And thats allit is and they know it..a story
-
Not just the Tories. The entire corporate media spectrum - BBC included - institutionally are unable to give such an honest analysis.
