I think he's failing to spot that has the young Remainers start to work and pay tax, they'll begin to swing around to the idea of Brexit.

The cross over point in the 2016 referendum was 45. Most people of working and taxable age voted Remain. Doesn’t make them better people but still a fact.
-
My point still stands about students. They get a huge wake up call when they leave the brain washing factory and join the commuters and realise that all the "free" stuff is paid for.

No one expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Time for your nap?

Why do you have to be so condescending?
-
Why does
@DAaronovitch expect to be treated differently (& those who think like him) & without condescension when he writes such disgusting articles? I don't think I've ever heard a#Leave supporter ever voicing a desire for#Remain supporters to die off. Appalling sentiment. -
@DAaronovitch does not voice a desire for old remain voters to die. He is simply pointing out a demographic fact. What is disgusting about that? - 1 more reply

All voters will die at some point so let's call this whole, silly democracy-thing off shall we?

What about the possibility that brexiteers will be replaced by more remainiacs switching sides when people start to realise the benefits

Hope you have a long, healthy life and live to see our youngsters take us back into the EU - if, indeed, we ever leave.
-
That won't be necessary. Unlikely they would desire to be ruled completely from another country by an organisation made up of a group of countries who have vastly different attitudes, cultures and economic climates to the UK & NI.
-
How many youngsters have you spoken to? All but one from amongst those I know are very keen for the UK to remain a member state of the EU. And your use of ‘ruled’ is absurd, as I’m sure you must know ....pic.twitter.com/c6LZu6WwkJ
-
That isn't a persuasive chart. It shows, the UK & NI being represented by only a handful of MEPs and being ruled completely from another country by an organisation made up of a group of countries who have vastly different attitudes, cultures and economic climates to the UK & NI.

We share sovereignty with a group of other countries for mutual advantage. UK is on winning side of 95% of EUP votes. Name one law/regulation that’s materially harmed you or someone you know.
-
Sharing sovereignty wasn't on the 1975 referendum ballot paper.
-
It was an implicit condition of joining the EEC that we’d be surrendering some sovereignty.pic.twitter.com/uM9pRR3aE5

There is no mention of relinquisihing UK soveriegnty in that article and it wasn't mentioned on 1975 the ballot paper.
