Would that be because you’re not entitled to a vote? Weird, huh?

Is it fair for some EU citizens to be able to vote in 2 countries when most can only vote in one? Of course not. There is your answer.

They were allowed, unless they had been away for longer than 15 years. A court decided that the 15 year cut-off was fair. Also don’t forget the deadline for registering was extended, along with a publicity campaign to encourage more younger people to vote.

Exactly, Julia, strange if you are a long term resident why not become a British citizen then you could vote? or maybe he doesn't like the Country enough? That's fair I think.

Strange - I wasn't allowed to vote in the French elections. It might have been a different outcome. I'm outraged!

I am a citizen and I wasn't allowed to vote on something that directly effects me, how is that democracy? Or is that just another remonabore lie even though it actually happened to tens of thousands of your fellow UK citizens.

Yet, in Scotland's referendum we placed no restriction, on residents. But, then you enjoy a whiff of xenophobia.
