If my child behaved so badly that I wanted Santa to punish her on Xmas Day, I would question how well I am doing my job as a parent. #justsayinghttps://twitter.com/eveningstandard/status/946422534697873409 …

As a parent myself and never presume to judge another's parenting skills. Who'd be so arrogant?

The problem today is that we don’t judge other people’s parenting skills enough. It’s either working or it isn’t. The child is the proof.

His children aren't serving life sentences. They were, at most, naughty. Your kids never naughty? I'm still learning and I have 4 kids.

“At most naughty”? And punishing them with coal on Xmas day seems like a good idea?!!?!

No idea. Not something I'd do, but I don't have his context. I'm sure he loves his kids more than you or I. And he says he won't do it again. He's learning.

So they did it to teach a lesson then bought more to make up for their children being so bloody spoilt. The right thing to do would have been to tough it out once you made a decision
