Just back from bodyboarding in Costa Rica and a Brit Remainobore sitting behind me on the beach is loudly explaining to his friends why Brexit is awful. Should I...

Dam thats new year ruined.....
-
*it’s “damn” not “dam”, and there’s an apostrophe in “thats” but, otherwise, well done.
-
It's still ruined.......my spelling is correctable, Christmas being ruined not so.

Maybe the legacy left by still being in the EU would have been worse! So hard to know without your crystal ball Ivor!
-
Er, no. Remaining part of the customs union & Free Trade area & paying £50bn for it is an awful deal by any standards.
-
I agree, let's pay buggar all and just leave. We can easily survive without either. Smoke, mirrors and bullshit. Unless you want to be part of a Federal Republic of Europe there is absolutely no point in paying £50bn.
-
I’m afraid that won’t work either because of the commitments given on the Irish border issue. Being part of the customs union & FTA is now inevitable. And £50bn lighter.
-
It is inevitable if we carry on down this path. It's as obvious as the nose on your face that the result will not be upheld. This as been the aim from the day after the referendum. All the procrastination and deals are merely a distraction!
