Leavers keep ranting on about the will of “The People”. Try saying that in German and see how it sounds.

The language of the Mail mirrors exactly that used on 1930s Germany. Der Wille des Volkes was one device that Hitler used to gain power (supported by the Mail). This is not trivial, IMO

So unfair. The Nazis blamed everything on foreigners. Used the right wing press to call for enemies of the people to be dealt with as traitors Incited supporters to attack and kill opposing voices &removed the political processes that blocked them Not like Brexiters at ALL

When you try & ride roughshod over independent judiciary and sovereignty of parliament with ever increasing hysteria and screams of "The People's Will" you get dangerously close to violence and mob rule. We had a vote. Its being implemented. But parliament is sovereign. Calm down

If i am not much mistaken the language argument was conclusively settled back in 1945, although i do speak the language & have German friends, one wonders what point your attempting to make exactly!, as a footnote my friends from Germany would also leave Eu given the vote!.

I'm not intent on starting an argument. However, when little Johnny Englander starts bleating 'we won the war huzzah for Brexit' makes me think that a) you should get your facts right and b) show a little humility. Alas with you being a typical Brexshiteer, I can't it happening.
