As a Brexiteer, I didn't vote to bring back power from the EU to the British Parliament. I voted to bring back power to the British people. MPs don't get the final say. We, the people, do.

She’s been gone a long time. There must be quite a lot of words to plough through...

We're still waiting for an answer.... she's probably got confused between the laptop and the etch-a-sketch again.

1. UK is a representative democracy. We vote MPs every 5 years who make decisions on our behalf. 2. Any UK referendum isn't legally binding but only advisory. 3. Denying MPs votes on such important matters is undemocratic. End of lesson.

Are you saying THE PEOPLE should be consulted in a referendum about the final deal? Bring. It. On.

You're suggesting a referendum on every bill that goes through parliament?

But, surely if everyone was that pissed off with the EU then we would have had a UKIP government and they wouldn’t have needed to call a referendum

No, but we needed MPs to put the referendum act (EU withdrawal) before parliament you jingoistic simpleton. I really would suggest an elementary course in constitutional law would be of great benefit to you.

Actually, we did, because the referendum wasn't legally binding (also, that court case), they just voted to confirm the result.

Well yes you did. If Cameron hadn't won in a majority among MP's in 2015 their wouldn't have been a referendum for you to vote Leave in. Parliament gave you the opportunity that vote in the first place. If you want straight Direct Democracy, go to Europe.
