Newspaper sales are down and I would not be surprised if TV news ratings are down also. I for one have stopped reading and watching because of the bile they spout on this issue it's B.O.R.I.N.G.

Agreed. No longer watch any news show where I used to watch pretty much every one. In fact don't watch telly any more because of the political agenda on show in so much of it. Disengaging with MSM on everything. And I'm a journalist.

I'm the same Joani. I just watch Netflix now, the quality is astounding and so far the shows are just shows seemingly without any agenda other than to entertain.

I'm cancelling my licence when my (free) Sky sub's up shortly. Fed up being lectured and propagandised to by the BBC. Can't even escape the social messaging about diversity in adverts now. And there is no longer any balanced news programme left. Even LBC's fallen.

Julia darling, TV news channels are biased towards Labour and remain. They've had this agenda from the start. When a senior BBC news presenter Jon Snow gets on the stage at Glastonbury and shouts " fuck the Tories" and remains in his job it is time to sack the entire BBC Board

thank's for the correction, but I stick to my views News channels should be controlled and Snow & Co are completely biased to the left, as are the BBC and Sky.

Such an uplifting article. The press in the UK is much the same as the MSM here in the US. They refuse to accept the will of the people. Hang in there Brexiteers, you have support from around the world.

Quite simple really. 17mill of a population of 60mill does not constitute "The People" particularly when 16mill voted against!! Not exactly rocket science is it!

What does constitute “rocket science” is every registered voter had opportunity 2voice their opinion. If they chose not 2, then they have 2 live with the result. Brexit was hotly contested, constantly in news. Remainers chose 2stay home. Now they must live with it DEMOCRACY

Quite true. But given that 48% of those that did voted against it's pretty evident that 17mill from circa 33mill is not "The People" but only the majority vote. It cannot be said that those 16mill would consider themselves as part of "The People". It is a false term.
