Yes, and they are all predicated on one fundamental truth: a democratic vote in a national referendum decides our future not Eurocrats, civil servants or politicians who all “know better”.https://twitter.com/stigabell/status/939037416895033346 …

It’s beginning to look as if the simple concept of Brexit conceals a myriad of more complex issues critical to our country’s economic and political well-being.

You've conveniently omitted the experts - who do know better, and are being proven right on every metric since the vote last year 😂

Er, so how’s that mass unemployment and recession going then?

Deflection is a sign of weakness, Julia. ICYMI, we're in surplus and are growing faster than the UK, but with Brexit being so miserable, I can see how you missed that news.

They said it would happen immediately following the vote, if you remember. Now they’re saying the project fear doom will happen once were out and they’ll be wrong again

You’re probably right because it’s all shaping up to a very soft squishy Brexit. Far from ideal as it’ll be as we’re still in but will have no say in how he EU is run.

That appears to be the assumption from many quarters. So long as we are still able to realise the benefits of leaving I will be happy - the right to set up trade deals, manage immigration, and diverge from EU rules and regulations where we decide that’s in our best interests

It really is the only logical outcome. My worry is that laws will be rewritten by a government under the yoke of the billionaire owned and run Right wing press. May is a slave to Paul Dacre and will sell all employment rights up the river just to keep him on side.

Growth down from 2.5% to 1.5% not just for this year but for the foreseeable future. Inflation is twice that. Living standards stagnating. More people having to use food banks. Thank Brexiteers.
