Surely if you can’t display sufficient restraint to comply with a ‘quiet zone’ your use to society is zero & you should be shot?!

Is it just me being hypersensitive (or old) or is loud music now an issue in the vast majority of shops? #TurnItDown #Please

I want to able to chat over the table not shout. Some restaurants are now so noisy because everyone in there is shouting over the music. No Thanks 😟

I find that too... no chance of a quiet meal in most restaurants because the music is loud therefore the talking has to be louder . Worse still if you end up sat near one of the loudspeakers 😡

Many a restaurant has lost my custom for that exact reason. When asked why they play 'loud' music, "Our customers like it". NO THEY DON'T 😠

Well with driver only trains there will be no guard to police the public so it will only get worse as time goes on

I've politely asked a person to take their call outside the carriage and they obliged. Time to be proactive and protect our space.

It does not work. @EMTrains have quiet carriages which I choose to travel. But nobody conforms to basic etiquette of being quite and considerate. It is no longer British way of being reserved and mannered.
