Hi Mark, please explain how messing up a customs deal for the UK Ireland would be avoiding the hard border it doesn't want? or is it a question of cutting off the nose to spite the face?

The boarder was just an after thought for Brexiteers. We can hardly be blamed if you guys forgot that a part of your country was in Ireland. This is your mess Julia, you guys need to deal with it

Agreed mate, no idea why everyone is blaming the Irish. We had no say in Brexit and we used our veto to make sure the border and GFA was upheld which the UK and Ireland had a duty to do.

Surely if Ireland does not want a hard border, it just has to help the UK fight for a free market deal where customs border checks will not be necessary? Then skilled Irish people working in Nothern Ireland (and vice versa) get issued a free pass ID instead of applying for visas?

Well, there's no hard border... Uk doesn't understand Ireland's situation... this is very clear from some of the comments.... They play the whole.. EU are "playing you like a fiddle"..... even if they were, it's not worse than what UK has being doing of late

Or we will be the next Greece, just pure ignorant posts being made without a single fact to back up anything. And they wonder why we held our veto like the golden key it was.

face book? Some politicians have been saying it for years. Eu was a con, designed to transform into a service based economy . And impose control from Germany . Watched it happen slowly. Globalist politicians insidiously entered all parties to assist the cause!
