I told my son how we used to wheel the washing machine into the kitchen and stand over it ..then transferring it to the spinner and rinse with a hose pipe several times..and it was all done e on a Monday! He looked st me as if I’d gone mad!!

That 1 can't have it all - not all at once anyway. Save up to buy things - Don't borrow, sacrifice going to pubs/on holiday/gigs/buying latest phone/takeaways/take sandwiches to work for lunch/drive an old beat up car/bike. Save up for house deposit. I did, not alone. It takes 2.
