From that poisonous comment I guess you can afford the tax. Many can’t.

Poisonous. Roughly how much tampon tax do you think women pay a year? Give it a guess.
-
More than they should. 1 p tax on essential sanitary care is 1p too much So yes poisonous and unnecessary comment

Unbelievably, the European Commission is yet to say whether they give permission for member states to remove VAT from sanitary products, despite Cam/Os having wrongly claimed they had definitely won an exemption for UK.
-
Cameron & Osborne lied to the British public about this, as Cameron did with his SHAM NEGOTIATIONS designed & contrived by him & the corrupt EU to deceive, but I'm sure he had a jolly time at 'OUR EXPENSE' flying around the globe

Didn't Cameron want to abolish Tampon tax but couldn't because of EU rules?

Not much. I guess buying a girlfriend a box for Christmas doesn't amount to much.

just because you’ve gone through menopause and you no longer need sanitary products does not mean it’s not important

Well I know you don't like anything being dragged up, which paints a bleak picture, of your "rob the poor" Rottweilers in Ditzy Tory land, but to those who have don't have money to burn or chuck, - (obviously like yourself), - this is an important issue.
-
Oh, I must have missed the part where it wasn't applied during labour's years in government!

You seem to be saying that people should accept perceived injustices because it’s boring to keep fighting it?! 1975 EC referendum

Dont men pay for the vast majority of condoms? Any rebates available? Or is un-wanted pregnancy just a 'male' issue?
-
Men can at least get theirs free if they go to the family planning but menstrual products are not free anywhere
-
Yeah, and your local family planning clinic will be full of young guys on a friday night before they go out, NOT! There are lots of people of both sexes who have incontinence issues who buy products privately without help from the state, probably not left wing enough...
