Since when do I claim to speak for David Davis?
Since when did I say you do? All I asked was how 'perfectly obvious' can it be if even the man in charge of making it all happen didn't seem to think it was 'perfectly obvious'.
I have no idea.
Like most Brexiteers on life after Brexit.
"I have no idea" - yes, maybe because it wasn't perfectly obvious at all. Thousands of lost jobs, now that was always going to be the obvious result
Jordan just owned Katie Hopkins' less vile twin
Just read that hoteliers in London are going to lose 36,000 visits from scientists and researchers a year because of this decision. Makes you think doesn’t it.
And who do you think pays those hotel bills? The EU. As a net contributor, that means it’s the UK taxpayer paying.
Nice omission, Julia. The UK doesn’t pay for entire EU budget. UK taxpayer wld pay 10-15% hotel bills. Remaining 85-90% by other nations
We're net contributors. Most countries aren't. Everything the EU spends in the UK is, to all intents and purposes, paid for by us.
When you’re in a hole Julia stop digging. You’re just making yourself look even more stupid.
Intetesting to hear that the staff at the EMA dont want to move from london....
That’s OK, we’ll need a UKMA to replace it. Based in London. Staffed with ex-EMA folks. Possibly even in the same office.
Hmm, what is actually moving?
It'll take 5 years to staff the UK version. Who will authorise new drugs in the interim.
NICE? The EMA? The FDA? There are loads of drug regulation agencies, why reinvent the wheel...
No deal #Brexit means no new drugs into UK for at least 5 years post 2019. Thats a lot of people suffering and dead due to #brexitshambles
Don’t be daft. If a miracle drug appears tomorrow, every other Western nation will regulate it. We could, y’know, _trust_ them not to be corrupt and/or incompetent. If there’s no existing legal framework, put a bill before Parliament.
It's drug companies we are talking about here , corruption & money & death
The Brexit battle bus said we are giving the EU around £350million a week already. Yes. they can go. We have funded the EU long enough. We should stop paying it now. We owe the EU nothing. Why pay a ransom of £40billion too..
We were a united nation of various parties at that time. Yes we disagreed at the time. But everyone agreed to the democratic vote. Politicians have sabotaged our parliamentary vote to their discredit..
The vote was only ever advisory, and no., not everyone agreed with it. Wiser heads said it was really stupid idea. Cameron did it to appease loonies he should have stood up to.
No one ever told the public that it was only advisory before the referendum. That was only brought after, because the majority of politicians in all parties disagreed with the result.
Wrong. All referendums have always been advisory and this was made explicit in both Houses in 2010. We're a Representative Parliamentary Democracy, no referendum can remove Parliament's sovereignty.
Well, one thing we agree on that MPs in Parliament have made a right mess of it. No one is going to win. The country is broken.
I blame the liars who promoted the Leave campaign. Idiots who put personal gain and dogma above the interests of the country.
The remain campaign was/is ruled by a small group with a personal financial interest in the UK staying in the EU - it was never about what was best for the UK for them. It was about manipulating people like you to help protect their personal interests. They lied&still do. #Brexit
