Oh purlease. Some elderly people maybe can use a bicycle but most too frightened and sense of balance goes. Are you really that thoughtless
Which is why trikes are used a lot by elderly, removes balance issues. And what are they scared off? Drivers?that's not just elderly, and is why good quality segregated cycle lanes are needed.
My grandma used a trike to get around when her knees went and she couldn't walk very far any more.
