Why don’t they build bloody roads to go along with the bloody houses? Very bad town planning. x

Nailed it! Happening here, no extra water, sewerage, schools, GPs, roads minute, no car parking, etc etc - it's a bloody disaster

...and stop giving
#Councilhouses to immigrants who buy them 6 months later -
Should be no social housing or benefits for new migrants zero tolerance for min 3 years
-
That is the only fair and equitable policy . Preferential treatment with housing for non UK residents causes great resentment.
-
...especially when a) those
#CouncilHouses have become vacant due to#BedroomTax & b) the houses don't appear on bidding sites

They could try the "stop importing people" option and the "deport illegals" options, too. Can't just build unlimited houses without infrastructure.

It's not "Britain" that's crowded. Also Nearly 2m new folks have arrived since Tories took power. After 13 years of Labour's doors wide open, send out search parties policy. How do you build enough houses when more keep coming?pic.twitter.com/4zBfvK1VhH

Simple answer to that is you can’t. You could flood the market with new builds, but heaven help those that bought in the last 10 years
-
New builds where? English greenbelt? I want it preserved. I want protected. UK govt population policy is madness.

Housebuilders are currently building as fast as the colossal welfare subsidy they are receiving will allow.

TBH, I’d blame the planning laws and

Yes, strange that successive governments bend over backwards to talk about how nice and helpful they are, especially to millions of newcomers. “Immigrants can have jobs here so long as they can be stashed tidily under the stairs. Next to the vacuum cleaner.”
-
“And are willing to pay £1200pcm for the privilege”
