Hilarious that Lord Kerr claims British voters are being misled over Brexit. As if we weren't misled for 40 years about the growth of the EU super-state! http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-theresa-may-article-50-reversal-misleading-public-author-lord-kerr-claims-a8046676.html …

Lets not forget The UN was formed in 1945 as well.
-
Also worth noting that the EU did not exist until 1993 when the Maastricht treaty came into effect. Then it became exactly what voters in 75 were told it wouldn't be.

I often hear of 40 years of peace thanks to EU. Where was Yugoslavia exactly?

Really good point Nigel, thanks.

The EU's farcical claims to have brought peace merely reveal the extent to which the EU already imagines that its lies are widely believed.

The EU is a work in progress. We will find out if the politics you represent is right very shortly. As per the integrity of the side you represent, the Jewish-Russian-Trump-Murdoch muddle makes everything rather questionable at the moment.

Financial cooperation is part of that. Working together and understanding what it takes to be tolerant of others is what has helped weave together a peaceful Europe. As I’m sure in your less rabid moments you would agree.

Very sily. NATO kept the peace between East and West but the EU was originally set up to ensure peace in Western Europe and in that regard it has been successful.

Churchill liked Europe. He set it up. You don't accuse him of lacking patriotism. Yet here you are tearing his legacy down and for what?..... Oh yes patriotism. I prefer his version to yours.
