Also not forgetting that pretty much all nhs staff are salaried so the issue is pretty much null and void tbh.

Only if they're on nightshift at both times. I worked shifts for 10 years and it never worked out for me once :-(

My last visit did include a 400 pound megalith of a woman telling me that I needed to lose weight and exercise more.

I am slightly overweight due to ill health. This was a rush to A&E for a serious problem unrelated to weight.
