So what’s your plan to address the 40,000 premature deaths due to air pollution, Julia?

There aren't 40,000 premature deaths from air pollution. Politicians are deliberately misquoting the report. And the report is vague anyway
-
I'd bet, more children are damaged by their parent's second hand smoke than the poor air quality in the parks.

Or you could just not drive in London. Like I don't
-
Neither do I. Do you only have opinions about things that directly affect you?
-
You, the general you. Not thee.

Where is the point in cutting air pollution, when he spouts more crap than the cars.

My 15yo, 2.4L, 170bhp Volvo S80 still gets 34.8mpg and will last another decade. Far more environmentally friendly than a new electric car.
-
Nothing to do with economy it's the crap that comes out of the tailpipe they're saying is the problem.

How long can you drive an old car to get the same pollution level as making a new one?
@SadiqKhan How much pollution to make an electric one -
That thinking is far too deep for them: too many thought processes from main focus: like electric cars run off a 3-pin plug.

This is what liberal progressive big government does folks. Less freedom. More control of your life.
-
While a UKIP-led government would let unelected and mostly foreign billionaires make all the decisions for you?
-
Drivel.

Apart from the odd trip I manage to avoid London. Don't know how people live and work there when quality of life is so much better elsewhere
-
My family’s from London but I’ve lived in Somerset for years. Had to visit London for business recently. Wouldn’t move back if you paid me.
-
Once people escape and sample realities of life beyond London, many don't want to go back. Maybe different for rich and affluent.
