I think JRM would make an excellent PM. He's a true brexiteer, intelligent, witty, formidable in debate and a real gent.

He also has a business that relies on "emerging global markets" .... no agenda with the EU at all. Christ, people are thick.

-
They certainly are Michael.

I made the mistake of reading the comments. It's the Conservative version of Corbyn-fever.
-
The man needs to hold down a role as a minister before this can even be considered, at the moment he's just a clean slate he makes me laugh
-
and like Boris, that's no basis for a PM
-
For clarity: I wasn't likening Rees-Mogg to Corbyn, more comparing the quality of support with that of the Corbyn fanbois.
-
Most support I see is from people of my own age.. which is the average age of a corbyn supporter so similarities may not be coincidence
-
It's not impossible, although much less likely than was Corbyn's ascendancy. But we live in surprising times politically.
-
I think 50:1 back in June was pretty fair odds, probably should be around the same now. Wasn't going to risk more than a tenner though.

He appears to be an exception an honest MP and answers your questions with common sense and when needed wit I like him
-
He is ace. A breath of fresh air. Politics would be greatly improved. Common sense, interesting and fun for a change. Mincemeat of Corbyn.

What's your objection? Succumb to the left's identity politics and rule someone out based on their background?
-
Yes hes a super rich posh twat who has no concept of how real people live
-
So he happened to be born into wealth and privilege. I thought we didn't judge people on their background?
Being successful is a negative? -
Of course we judge ppl on their background. Exactly why Tories love to cut money from poor ppl and give it to rich ppl

With a "common man" like him at the helm they'll win an unprecedented majority at the General election in October
