@hugorifkind Six in 10 people say they would rather take an economic hit if it means having our own laws. Are they shitty or principled?

The survey I saw said 6 in 10 LEAVE voters told You Gov they would take an economic hit - not 6 in 10 voters.
-
Yes, but Remain voters don't exist anymore, remember?
-
Hugo, Allison was referring to the same people to whom you were referring: Leave voters.
-
She didn't say "those people". She said "people". But yes, of course she was. Because they're they "only" people.
-
You know perfectly well what she meant.
-
A majority of Leave voters wish to damage our country. If you don't agree with them, now is the time for a rethink.
-
When are people going to accept the result, it was a once in a lifetime vote, the result cannot be changed, get on with you lives

Because we already live in an independent sovereign state?
-
I have it in writing that the Government, immediately after the EU Referendum, stated that we had remained Sovereign at all times.
-
If the UK wasn't sovereign it would have had to ask the EU for permission to hold a referendum.
-
Bingo!!!
-
If we were a sovereign state, we would be able to make trade deals with other nations.
-
Uk decided UK would get a better deal via going down the EU route. They ( and UK ) have more CLOUT collectively.
-
It's a bit like energy clubs. You get a large group of people together who all want the best deal and 'Hey Presto'.
