If there is the slightest chance the treatment will help #CharlieGard why are GOSH doctors and courts playing god to deny him that chance?

How can a judge be able to over rule parents trying to keep their kid alive but adults can be prevented from choosing when they die?
-
Withdrawing life support is not the same as helping someone to die- even if it seems very similar in some cases
-
It's absolutely the same thing when they're arguing about quality of life.
-
It sounds to me like the child could not live without life support and has no awareness of the world anyway
-
It's sad but unfortunately it's life.
-
There no consistency courts apparently know when it best for a child to die and when adults must live and suffer though god knows what

It's not so much the treatment that of course should be done. It's the state assult on the parental rights & freedom that is happening here.

He should be given Any chance, that's why it's called "A CHANCE" instead of the courts NO CHANCE ! Morning Julia

How on earth can anybody on Twitter know the first thing about this? Only those with access to all the medical details can, 'have their say'

Read the facts with an objective mind. Difficult to conclude anything other than he should be allowed to slip away. http://www.gosh.nhs.uk/frequently-asked-questions-about-charlie-gard-court-case …

To be honest this isn't an issue for unqualified keyboard warriors to get involved in. Leave it to the clinicians.
