Not quite, if god intervened everytime there was a crisis, why live? May as well sit at home & put yer feet up, as god will do all the work.

Well, quite. So why do religious people pray to their God to act to save people? It doesn't make any sense to me.
-
Because we believe that while bad things happening is part of life, there can be intervention. It's too complex to debate on twitter anyway
-
If he lives "god is great" if he dies " it's gods will" How about,"what sort of god would allow this?"
-
God isn't about "allowing" things to happen. If no bad things happened this would be heaven and not earth.
-
Does your god have the power to stop these things from happening, if he wanted to?
-
I do believe in intervention. I get why u could say "but why doesn't he intervene all the time?"but they'll be reasons we don't understand
-
Ah the cop out repost.

Yup. That old paradox. When questioned, usually met with the response: "Who are we to question the mind of God?" etc, et-bloody-CETERA.

They'll simply say it's either a test, god's will or the devil. They'll say that they are asking for god's mercy. They always have answers
-
Bang on any of those three

An omniscient, omnipotent and benevolent entity would intervene to protect millions of innocent children....don’t you think?
-
All the evidence suggests however, that the entity you think you are praying to either can’t intervene, doesn’t care or isn’t there.
-
Or is waiting until the time is right to intervene on a global scale. For now He intervenes in many ways, seen and unseen, as He chooses.
-
And you know this how? ...and how many innocents must die before the time is right? Oh I see the 'god works in mysterious ways' excuse
-
I've never used that phrase. It's not in scripture either. Evidently you aren't interested in discussion, only in making snide remarks. Bye
-
Have you ever seen an "answer to prayer" that couldn't easily be explained some other way?
-
Such as?
