That's funny, conservatories are exempt from building regs, you wouldn't be making stuff up again would you?

-
They need planning approval and that requires them meeting building regs.

In the words of Jack Carter: You're a big girl, but you're in bad shape. With me it's a full time job. Now behave yourself.

Don't you think the Tories who caused this crisis should be jailed? An Incompetent Tory government cut safety regulations for their friends.
-
Anyone responsible for this should be prosecuted. Anyone.

How do you know it's not the regulations themselves that are at fault? Do you tweet from knowledge?

Given the number of fire safety experts we have in this country, it's frankly amazing Grenfell ever happened at all.

who runs Camden? Labour or Tory?
-
Kier Starmer & Tulip Saddiq MPs that allowed flammable cladding to be erected in Camden .Resign !!
-
They are quick enough to blame May. Labour are more responsible as it happens. Corbyn should fall on his walking stick.

No one can afford to take any risks at this time and the politics doesn't matter. Protecting tenants now -must- be a priority.
-
Any risks? We all take risks every day. In all our homes.
-
For God's sake, really? - What an unbelievable and ridiculous comment to make. -
-
It's not a stupid comment. It's factual. Risk management is everywhere. Compliance controls mitigates risks. Not rocket science!
-
No it's fatuous, you can at least try to mitigate the most avoidable risks
-
I'm a compliance officer by trade and assure you it's not fatuous.

And you know this how?
-
because it's her conservatory roof?

-
And because it's taken only days to establish the cladding is unsafe. So clearly they didn't spend that time on the cladding when fitted.
-
Its not as simple as identifying the cladding it in itself is not illegal no matter what you have read. Camden was evacuated because (1/2)
-
of the Cladding combined with other issues. Of course questions will be asked as to why these other faults were missed. (2/2)
-
Oops lastly read up on BR135 that is where the problem lies. It should be amended to state only non-combustible cladding and/or (1/2)
-
Insulation should be used on blocks over 18 metres.
