You might want to actually read paras 23-27 of the judgement before, you know, rushing to judgement on this.. http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/Admin/2017/1446.html …

I used the word "seems" precisely because I had not read the judgement. Some of us have jobs that take up some of our time, Jonathan.
-
?? I wasn't objecting to 1st half of your tweet. You didn't use the word "seems" in respect to your statement about single mums.
-
The 2nd half of my tweet is my opinion. Most single parents work, many full time. Most married mums with babies also work. What is yr point?
-
I, like everyone else who read your tweet, assumed your point was "working 2 days a week isn't much to ask" of single parents in this case.
-
[of course, if it was just a random collection of words, irrelevant to the case you were commenting on, fine. Noted!]
-
Like everyone else? It was a tweet to Christopher.
-
everyone else who is misguided enough to follow you both ;-)

It is political. How can the Court decide that the cap doesn't seem reasonable? Thought case was on law not judges' viewpoint.
