Yet they can make decision on getting married. Adult has a legal definition of 18 in UK but doesn't mean to say they are matured at 18

No they can't. Need parental permission. And no one thinks it's a good idea to marry at 16, do they?

You could do that, but people also claim benefits when out of work. Surely if they are a child it is child labour

No life experience is better than bad life experience... Anyway, they pay taxes and NI, so why shouldn't they?

Very few 16 year olds live independently and understand basic financial decisions unfortunately.

Odd - that criteria would exclude quite a lot of pensioners. If you're old enough to pay tax and NI, you should have a say how on its spent.

I went to Uni at 27+ & they were left biased then & pro EU. They pushed their ideals onto us students. As I was working FT I didn't buy it
