If Britain had to vote again on Brexit today, we'd vote Remain.

There'll be other elections soon, with other manifestos. Democracy is a constant, minds change. Brexit in any form is not yet a done deal

Actually, mass EU immigration is still a problem. Especially with eu's constant expansion to the east.
-
Yep. Poles are very nice but when places are more Polish than British, all over, it isn't right.
-
Yeah, sure everyone is nice. It's just a matter of space and economics imo. Direct correlation between housing crisis and 330k net migration
-
Its all just a massive experiment that nobody had permission to carry out.
-
Precisely.

Don't be daft, Julia. Remainers voted Lab, thinking they'd be more open & amenable to changing their minds than rigid Cons.
-
And because in some areas (like mine) Labour had the best chance of ousting Tories with their very worrying policies
-
I'd have loved to have voted for lib dems, but thanks to FPTP that wouldn't have really had a chance at getting Tories out. So Lab it was

Pmsl. The parroting of this spin on the vote from Hard Brexiteers is embarrassing.
-
She's ridiculous. The remain voters I know simply had to fight a different battle this time which was damage the con majority.
-
Absolutely-clutching at straws. Hard Brexit is on the ropes
Why anyone would 'want' it is a different matter.

-
Hard Brexit is now dead. Labour will negotiate with allies in Europe, not with Tory hatred. Soft Brexit - EFTA? - or no Brexit now likely.

Many voted Labour to get the
#Tories out. Plain and simple. Disingenuous to appropriate last nights' events to a pro-Leave cause. -
Indeed. Most important factor for huge increase in youth vote was Brexit. Piers Morgan is right & it's not often I agree with him.

We need a constitution that makes it plain & simple enough for Remoaners to understand. Debate -> Vote -> Implement. (Rpt.) Clue:still
@3 -
Lack of understanding may be yours: a) problem of reducing complex issues to a yes/no question and b) how representative democracy works.
-
We did understand the issues and that is how democracy works. 50%+1 wins.
-
It was advisory only
-
Yet it seems perfectly fine to ignore a leave vote, because as you say it's only advisory, which funnily enough only came up once you lost.
-
I knew about it before the vote, I can't speak for you. Important to understand what you're voting in/for before you vote.
-
The thing that gets me, not once was it mentioned by anyone, unless you looked into the process, you wouldn't know it was advisory.
-
'Looking into the process' is what people should be doing for such a momentous decision
