U must have been watching something else - I have never cringed so much at the sound of a crowd laughing at a Prime Minister! Twas scathing
-
Didn't think it was possible to get a worse Prime minister than Cameron but May is determined to give it a bloody good go.

Jesus. I only watched May but if that's better than expected that's a bloody low bar you set.
-
Exactly. Shocking performance under pressure. She will make an awful bargainer for Brexit.

I thought may was outstanding in brexit. The theresa of old. Pure steel when talking about brexit. She was great imo.

You can't be serious.

She demonstrated how wise the conservative party were not to allow her to debate head on. She was abysmal

The walk away on no deal was the best answer an showed some strength
-
Did it? Showed me somebody who is completely out of their depth and incapable of holding such important and difficult negotiations.
-
So is the option to "negotiate" & if you can't get what you want ..then what, take what you can?
-
To negotiate you have to take part,to start from a stance where you'll walk away if you don't get what you want is both childish and weak.
-
So what happens if you aren't getting anywhere, what's your bottom line
-
Long term negotiation, will take months, eventually both sides will compromise & come to a deal both can accept, won't happen by walking away.
-
Absolutely agree, but you have to have an exit strategy, a bottom line , in all negotiations, brexit, house, car anything .
-
There have to be red lines,I agree,I just don't agree that going in with the attitude May has is condusive to successful negotiations.
