Getting rid of your best leader and sending the strategist into journalism was a pretty dumb idea. But the EU mattered more.

I'll take that as a no.
-
The great British public have a habit of getting these things right. I have faith.
-
I expect the same. But it is still interesting how far you are prepared to drop everything else in the shit for the sake of the EU vote.
-
So now I'm responsible for silly Labour people voting for Corbyn as leader?!
-
No, I didn't say that. I was responding to the claim that "self-govt" is worth a Corbyn government, if that were the price.
-
Self govt is worth ANY govt. Democracy means the voters always get it right. By definition.
-
Again, nobody is disputing that. The point is: if you were faced, in 2016, with (a) no EU plus Corbyn or (b) EU plus Cameron, you'd pick (a)
-
Yes, I would. Because I want the British people ALONE to decide who rules them. If they elect Corbyn, so be it. Live with the consequences.
